Brown's Grocery was located on Old Hwy 51, also known as Old Wesson Road, just north of the road that leads to the Brookhaven Airport. It's on the right just before you come to Charlie Nelms' property. The railroad actually owned the property, and Mr. Brown leased the building from them for his business. The Browns lived in a house just north of the store. They were still in business as late as 1985.
