Mon Petit Chou Chou
Hamilton Sr. was born in Dentville, MS. When he was just 8 years old, Luther's father died, and the youngster was sent to work in the mills in Wesson. As a young man, he trained with his uncle to be a photographer, and he later opened up his own studio in Crystal Springs. His son eventually joined the business. The collection consists of almost 1,000 prints, including one from 1901. This is a shining example of one of Copiah County's best: cabbage and lots of it!
