"The only information for this photo is the word 'Buttons.' It is a copy of a young girl with very long hair combed over one shoulder." -- Library caption.
If anyone recognizes this young lady, please leave word here or on my Facebook page.
This is really a longshot, but most of us remember the only person with that name was "Buttons" Winson George, Jr. (remember the train @ Exchange Club Park?). The family attended First Methodist Church, and his mother sang in the choir with my mother. This is really out there, but I remember her hair was always up on top of her head, and she had those same little "sweeps" on each side of her forehead, similar to this picture. Just maybe, this is Jessie George when she was a little girl.
