The "New" Jitney Jungle -- This One Facing Phillips Army Surplus

Note the house to the left that is no longer there.  Does anyone know the story of that home?

    I lived in that home from birth to age 3. That property was owned by my Grandparents, Julia "Jim" and John Perkins, and leased to Jitney Jungle.

    The house was moved around 1961-62 to create a parking lot. The Williams family purchased it and moved it to Mystery Lane about 2 blocks off of California Rd where it is now a rental house owned by John Williams.
